Hell and you

That wasn't so bad you think
A moment of discomfort and then nothing at all
Well, you are here
Falling in the darkness
Just you

The heat rises up to meet you
Rough scouring dirt crunches under your bare feet
The fire doesn't surprise you but the lack of people
There is no one in Hell
Well, except you

There are many places to go, run and scream
It would have been nice to share this experience
When your arm rots off again, you could show the others
Before their eyes burst from the inferno
But they are not here...just you

A small part of you feel embarrassed
You wonder if anyone up there knows you are the only one here
It would ruin your reputation if anyone knew
But you go back to screaming again
To no one but you

So it is just you in Hell
